JULY is for JutsuAs the sun dominates the skies giving the longest days of the year, the first Chuunin exams will soon be underway. For the Jounin prepared to take their rookie ninja into foreign territory to the genin of that country looking to represent their home with pride and victory, all still have time to grow before the assessment is ended. From strengthening one's body to fattening one's wallet, the struggle ultimately pays if you do it right and this summer the struggle is real.
Supplementary Knowledge Stipend
All ninja in service to a Hidden Village will receive stipends for each jutsu known, even if jutsu were learned before July.D-rank 1,000 Ryo. | C-rank 2,000 Ryo. | B-rank 3,000 Ryo. | A-rank 4,000 Ryo. | S-rank 5,000 Ryo. | SS-rank 10,000 Ryo.
Skill Development via Jutsu Training
Training new Jutsu doesn't just lead to the acquisition of the jutsu itself. With enough training of new techniques one might find their handsealing speed has increased or their chakra reserves have expanded, or their physical durability has improved. Much in the same way during this Summer Promotion learning new jutsu may yield an increase to one's stats. Each learned jutsu will carry a value to be added into a percentage. When a multiple of twenty (20) is reached a dice roll may be requested. For every 20%, the player may select one number 1-5 on a 5-sided die. If their number is rolled they are awarded a stat point.D-rank 1% Ryo. | C-rank 2% Ryo. | B-rank 3% Ryo. | A-rank 4% Ryo. | S-rank 5% Ryo. | SS-rank 10% Ryo.Example: Ninja Nathan learns 10 D-rank jutsu and 6 C-rank jutsu before, giving him 22 Percentage Points.
In this thread Ninja Nathan can cash out 20 of his 22 points to receive a Percentage of 20 for his roll.
With 20% Ninja Nathan has a 1 in 5 chance of winning the roll. To roll, Nathan must claim a number 1-5.
Nathan chooses number four (4), and then 4 is result of the diceroll, Nathan is awarded a stat point.
Note: Percentage Points may not be donated to other players and do no exist out side of this Summer Promotion.
Winning players may continue to play for up to a maximum of three wins/stat points.

AUGUST is for Ooccupations
Fancy that, the Daimyo seem to realize they can make their personal armies more efficient by allowing ninja (and non-ninja bold enough to try) to teach and certify themselves in various occupations through their countries. Ninja possess the drive and aptitude to learn handsigns, military tactics and fancy ninjutsu, in comparison learning how to forge a sword or track down an herb should be far easier. All professions quests and/or mission requirements have been lifted. All players may post in the allotted thread to claim a desired profession.
Note: If the additional profession slot is purchased from the EXP SHOP the new slot can be filled during purchase.
Cross Occupational Field Studies & Development
This one is in thanks to the collective voice of the Kage setting the Daimyo straight; it's not enough to provide to licenses and wave application fees. The ninja must use their new tools and skills in diverse and innovative new ways to be of any use beyond that of their civilian counterparts. To amend this the Kage have put an emphasis on new professionals interacting with their peers to bolster their experience and usefulness to the village. All threads in which two or more professionals use their occupations in synergy will receive an x3 rewards bonus that applies to RP grades and mission payouts but does not stack with team bonus'.
Note: no matter how many players in a thread a minimum of two different professions must be utilized or central to the story.
...examples might include...
- ANBU taking a captured nuke-nin to a medic-nin for healing.
- a takumi making herbalist or medical tools.
- an herbalist fulfilling a "prescription" of herbs requested by a medic-nin.
- monks restraining wanted criminals until hunter-nin arrive to claim them.
- beast masters finding animals to assist other professionals; leeches for medics or pigs for hunter-nin
