When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?

We made it y’all, another month of OTA, and fresh off the press we have another promotion ready. Leaving behind the opening bonus sadly, we welcome the jugggggg! June is for juggin AKA working hard, so we are making it a double rewards month for every mission completed! Yes we said it's double rewards, now you all can really get into the thick of those builds if you work hard enough. And who knows what you might uncover in the process. Endan is a Ninjutsu technique in which the user utilizes the Katon Element. After performing the requires seals the user is capable of using their hand in a circular motion in order to focus a constant gout of flames from their mouths (which can be sustained up to one additional post per 1x mid used). This gout fans out at its peak, and is easily capable of consuming several targets all at once.[break][break] Note: This technique has burning power similar to level 3 strength, and can travel at level 2 speed.[break][break]

Dai Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Katon Element. After performing the necessary handseals, the user will first gather the fire into their mouth. Then, they will spew a massive stream of fire (twice the size of Endan and twice as powerful; at 2x mid per post sustained).[break][break] Note: This technique has burning power similar to level 6 strength, and can travel at level 4 speed.[break][break]

Gouka Messhitsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After forming the necessary handseals, chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive stream of intense flames that can set a vast area ablaze, engulfing the target(s) in the veritable sea of flames. If used upon dense, combustible terrain such as a forest, the confined area can greatly increase the possibility of the target(s)’s incineration.[break][break]
Note: The stream of fire can be forced out for one entire turn, and at its maximum, spans nearly 10 meters wide and 10 meters high. The heat of these flames are able to melt steel almost instantly, and sheer flesh from bone with even the slightest contact. This technique has burning power similar to level 8 strength, and can travel at level 7 speed.[break][break]

After performing the necessary Handseals, the user will fill their mouth with lava before spitting them at their targets. Due to lava’s unique liquid-like nature, these globs are often deformed and splatter as they travel (lava debris can reach up to a meter away from the glob, itself, and should be [break][break]Noted) to their target. Once striking a substance, these globs can harden, making the perfect use for closing doorways when not melting the flesh and bone of their victims. These blobs have burning/blasting power similar to level 6 Strength and Move at level 6 speed.[break][break]

Becoming the host of the Yonbi has blessed Xio Kami with a sentient relationship with the lava release, unlike most people he has a natural immunity to heat and fire in general. This ability coupled with his heritage has given birth to a technique meant to protect the Jinchuriki of the Yonbi, after spending countless hours honing his ability to infuse chakra in lava he spawns as well as natural lava he's hit a plateau. Xio has learned to infuse sentience inside lava he's pre-treated with his own chakra, this lava can function purely on its own or as commanded as long as Xio has the chakra to maintain it. Unlike natural lava as long as Xio has the chakra to support it he can shift its temperatures at will to increase the intensity of the heat, or cool enough to lock things in place while never fully committing to either state. While this technique is active Xio has the ability to control any lava pretreated with his chakra in a free-form manner. This lava can move up to level 5 speed when being controlled, and it can move in any fashion desired by the user I.E wave, columns, cones, or any other basic shape and the max burning power is comparable to level 7 Strength. Along with the ability to work offensively moving at Xio's command, the lave also can react defensively to incoming attacks. Although this ability only works if he's aware of the incoming attack, it can block most solid jutsu and objects by simply burning it away or getting hard enough to block incoming attacks. This jutsu can block jutsu 7 and below AS long as Xio's aware of the incoming attacks and has time to react.[break][break]
Note: This technique is the bases for all of Xio's Raging Ape Techniques, and it requires a pretreated source of lava that's created by Xio in an Identified thread. In order for this technique to work, he has to carry a special gourd created by his father to house this lava and constantly feed it his chakra. The amount of Lava is limited to the amount he can carry in his gourd in most cases. Once Xio has Achieved Perfect Host he’s capable of infusing the Yonbi Sentience inside of his lava allowing it to react on it’s own accord![break][break]

Akai Umi was developed to create specially treated lava for Xio to use for his unique techniques, this lava is specially treated with his chakra. After forming a singular seal the ground beneath the Shinobi will begin to melt turning everything on the ground in a 50-meter radius into lava. Initially, the lava will be a thin layer that coats the ground but over time can get as deep as 5 meters deep.[break][break]
Note: Once this technique is initiated it takes 3 turns before the lava is capable of being used for any Okoreru saru techniques and the pool of lava spreads near instantly but it gets deeper by 2 meters per turn before reaching a max of six. This lava has burning power comparable to level 5 strength. This technique generates at least 5000 gallons of lava. This technique requires Okoreru saru.[break][break]

While Okoreru saru is active Xio has the ability to use his lava without the need for a technique by simply being conscious. Reijingurabasheru was inspired by the idea that Xio would face opponents that would be aware of his abilities and do their best to keep their distance to avoid facing him. After a singular seal, a portion of lava will rise from the gourd or ground, whichever is more convenient at the time to about 30 meters in the air. Once it reaches its pinnacle the ball expands rapidly at level 7 speed in all directions creating a 50x50 meter blanket of lava in the air, it will continue to expand until the edges begin to fall harden as it crashes into the ground creating a Dome/Mountain with a singular hole in the top resembling a volcano. Once this technique is active Xio can control the temperature within the area of the dome. [break][break]
Note: These walls have durability resembling level 7 defense, and potential burning power of up to level 5 strength. This technique requires Okoreru saru (Raging Ape). Requires 1k+ gallons of lava or Akai umi (Sea of Red) active.[break][break]

Once Akai Umi is active Xio can turn the lake of lava into an active volcano, after forming the proper hand seals the lake will begin to bubble vigorously. After a few moments pass no matter what’s in the vicinity the entire lake will erupt shooting all of the contents of the lake into the air about 20 meters. Once it reaches its pinnacle globs of lava will fall from the sky randomly not discriminating between friend or foe this lava will rain for 3 turns, over 50 meter raidus with Xio being the center.[break][break]
Note: Once This technique is active everyone one within 50 meters will have a 1 and 10 chance of being hit by a blob lava. Anything the lava touches will face burning power comparable to level 7 strength. All lava that’s spewed across the battlefield can be controlled by Xio.This requires Okoreru saru (Raging Ape) and Akai umi (Sea of Red). This technique has burning power similar to level 8 strength, each turn a player is within the radius of this technique will have a dice roll at the end of Xio post to determine if you have to react to the falling lava blob that measures 5x5x3 meters. if you get a good die roll then you can assume it fell somewhere in the distance away from you it last for 3 turns.[break][break]

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a simple yet effective Genjutsu technique which allows the user to play a nasty visual truck on their opponents, causing them to travel around an area lost, in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over. Most effective in enclosed areas such as forests or jungle.[break]
Note: Because this is a genjutsu used on an area, rather than a person, the only way to break it is by hitting the user once, or having them dispel it.[break][break]

If the user comes under attack, they can use this technique to cover their escape. After forming the needed hand seals, their body will disperse into a "shower" of whatever they have an affinity for. This shower will confuse and distract their opponent while they escapes or hide.[break]
Note: Those outside of the immediate range of this technique will still be able to see the caster attempting to escape, and can thusly counter. This technique can be broken via pain, kai, or chakra disruption.[break][break]

From the outside, it might appear as though the target is moving through molasses, as their body slows with their mind.[break][break]

Once inside the black space, the target will see grotesque figures said to be tortured criminals, the previous victims of the technique. This grotesqueness will reach out and grab a hold of the target. They will then be thrown into a void (the ground below them) to the mercy of a spectral demon. The horrifying oni can even extend from the targets own body to attack them. The technique aims to transfix the victim with fear while they kill/apprehend the target.[break]

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique)[break] Rank: B[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 1[break] Chakra Consumption: Halves the user’s chakra[break] Kage Bunshin is an advanced, forbidden Ninjutsu technique, which grants the user the ability to create a tangible clone. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. However, Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance, to the point the clone can utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, and spawns with any equipment the user has one them at the time of the summoning. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.[break][break]
Note: This technique is only capable of being learned by Genin or above. Up to a maximum of five [5] clones can be created. Please note that the user’s chakra is divided evenly among however many clones they create. Upon being destroyed, whatever remaining chakra the clone has is given back to the user. Despite having an extended range (virtually limitless), these clones must be created within five meters of the user.[break][break]

Through this training, they are able to then craft more specific creations, becoming legendary smithies in their own right. In effect, this technique opens up the entire craftsmen tree to the user.[break][break]
Note: To craft a specific item type, the user will also need to know the technique related to that type (e.g. sword). The rank of the equipment created is determined by the rank of the material used. Likewise, the rank the equipment is going to be will determine how many posts it takes for the craftsman to create or repair it and how many enhancements it can hold. 'D' rank takes 2 posts and holds no upgrades, 'C' rank takes 4 posts and holds 1 upgrade, 'B' rank takes 6 posts and holds 2 upgrades, 'A' rank takes 8 posts and holds 3 upgrades, and 'S' rank takes 10 posts and holds 4 upgrades.[break][break]
Surudoi Buki Seisaku (Blade Weapon Crafting)[break] Rank: S[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Passive / Takumi Hijutsu [break] Handseals: -[break] Chakra Consumption: -[break] This crafting technique is like a blueprint, reminding the craftsman the exact method they were taught to handle a type of equipment. In this case, it informs the user how to produce and repair bladed main weapons (e.g. swords and knives).[break][break]
Note: In their base form, these weapons hold no special properties - they are merely on par with overview weapons. The outcome rank depends upon the crafting material used. Crafting and repair time is specified in Takumi no Jutsu (Crafting Technique).[break][break]
Seijihan Kouyou (Offensive Enhancement)[break] Rank: S[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary / Takumi [break] Handseals: 5[break] Chakra Consumption: High per enhancement[break] While craftsmen are fully capable of adding mystical properties (such as chakra) to their crafted equipment, it is also well-known that they can modify weapons in more physical ways. By focusing their chakra into an item, whether newly-made by them or brought in from another source, they can mold parts of the material used to craft it into new additions, called enhancements (or upgrades). Needless to say, these upgrades tend to increase the offensive capability of equipment when done correctly.[break][break]
Note: Offensive boosts are not based on so-called "rank damage," since offensive weapons are capable of killing in their own right regardless of rank. Instead, these upgrades make changes to structure, size, or design of the equipment in question to increase their base lethality. For example, the craftsman could add a serrated edge to a blade, a spike to the end of a hammer, a container for holding poison, or what have you. Enhancements are up to your imagination, so long as they are within reasonable limits and given approval by a moderator.[break][break]
The number of enhancements capable of being added to a weapon depends upon the weapon's base rank, as written in Takumi no Jutsu (Crafting Technique). Each enhancement takes a total of one (1) post to complete.[break][break]
Nousatsu Takumi Kisei (Enchanted Crafting Knowledge)[break] Rank: S[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary / Takumi Hijutsu [break] Handseals: -[break] Chakra Consumption: High[break] This technique encompasses the craftsman's unique ability to give equipment enchantments. By focusing their chakra on an Enchantment Stone that has already absorbed source energy, they are able to infuse it with the equipment in question, permanently granting it an enchantment in line with the source chakra.[break][break]
Note: Only one enchantment can be placed upon a single equipment under normal circumstances; it takes one (1) full post to completely infuse a single stone. Enchantment does not translate to technique, but rather to ability - it allows the item to tap into the granted release. At that point, the craftsmen (or player the item is made for) should submit the item and its new specific abilities to Customs.[break][break]
