When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?

We made it y’all, another month of OTA, and fresh off the press we have another promotion ready. Leaving behind the opening bonus sadly, we welcome the jugggggg! June is for juggin AKA working hard, so we are making it a double rewards month for every mission completed! Yes we said it's double rewards, now you all can really get into the thick of those builds if you work hard enough. And who knows what you might uncover in the process. Chitose Meirei no Jutsu (Thousand Year Instruction Technique) Rank: S Range: --- Type: Supplementary Handseals: 10 Chakra Consumption: x2 High, Mid Upkeep Often the first technique clan members learn, Chitose Meirei No Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilizing the Senju clan's bloodline connection to the Rikoudou Sennin. After a full turn of charging, the user performs the necessary Handseals and gains a thin aura of chakra related to their strongest chakra nature affinity. For the next two turns, the user performs all techniques as if they also possessed all relevant masteries (i.e. they could perform an Earth Release jutsu as if they possessed all three Earth Release Masteries, then immediately after perform a Genjutsu as if they possessed all Genjutsu Masteries). Any masteries that grant one-time techniques can be used in conjunction with techniques from the corresponding tree, provided the user has a method for performing multiple jutsu simultaneously (clones, etc.).
Note: The turn duration increases by one each time the user gains a Mastery in the Senju Clan, for a total of five. Once used, it cannot be utilized again for a time period equivalent to however many turns it was used for, though it can be ended prematurely if the user so wishes.
Senju Hijutsu: Kōtei Genmitsuna Chōsa (Senju Secret Technique: Emperor's Rigorous Study) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m +) Type: Passive Handseals: --- Chakra Consumption: --- A passive technique that can be gained by the Senju, it is a ninjutsu which reflects their excellent chakra control and proficiency. With this technique, the chakra cost of techniques used multiple times in a single thread goes down by one tier (the user performs a technique that costs x1 Massive, the second time one uses the same technique, it's chakra cost becomes x1 High, the third time it costs x1 Mid, etc.). This only effects techniques used multiple times in succession within the same thread and is not cumulative, resetting for each battle. Using a different technique resets the chakra cost reduction as well.
Note: Regardless of reductions, the lowest cost paid for a technique will always be x1 Low. This passive effects all non-Senju related Ninjutsu techniques (doesn't work with Genjutsu or Taijutsu).
Senkikēji no Jutsu (One Thousand Caged Demons Technique) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Defensive Handseals: 4 Chakra Consumption: Low - x2 Massive After performing the necessary Handseals, the user claps their hands together vigorously, releasing their potent chakra in an omnidirectional burst that spreads out up to 10 meters, centered on the user. Though this does not grant enhancements of any type to the user, it is more than sufficient to break the user out of binding/paralyzing-type enemy techniques that normally require the Eight Celestial Gates or a Bijuu Cloak. The amount of chakra placed into the technique determines the power of techniques that the user is capable of breaking. Techniques that are successfully broken out of can be subsequently broken out of by the user expending only x1 Mid, regardless of the strength of the technique, and appear as if ripped apart by the user's energies.
Note: Only works on Ninjutsu techniques. This technique has no effect on the opponent normally but can be used in conjunction with the user's release(s) in order to emit a large (10m) field of the corresponding element, in a configuration of the users choosing. This element will have defensive properties equivalent to the chakra cost paid by the user, but cannot be used to attack.
Kiso Keihatsu (Base Enlightenment) Rank: S Range: --- Type: Supplementary Handseals: 9 Chakra Consumption: x2 High, x1 High (Optional) After the utilization of this technique, the user's Genjutsu techniques seem 'more real', and cast shadows, create sound, disturb the environment, and can compensate for the specifics of any known illusion to make it harder to detect as false. The manner in which illusions can be made to seem more real is nearly endless in utility, though the manner in which it is roleplayed out determines the technique's effectiveness. Detail in regards to the desired conditions of the technique's usefulness always determine its success. Any sensation associated with an illusory event actually occurring can be mimicked with this technique, though this doesn't stop them from being illusions.
Note: For an additional x1 High, this effect can be applied to the user's allies, enhancing their Genjutsu as well. This technique cannot be broken via pain, Kai, or chakra disruption, but the techniques it is used on can still be broken normally.

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu (Sly Mind Affect Technique) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 4 Chakra: Mid Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a simple yet effective Genjutsu technique which allows the user to play a nasty visual truck on their opponents, causing them to travel around an area lost, in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over. Most effective in enclosed areas such as forests or jungle.
Note: Because this is a genjutsu used on an area, rather than a person, the only way to break it is by hitting the user once, or having them dispel it.
Manugareru (Escape) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: 2 Chakra Consumption: High If the user comes under attack, they can use this technique to cover their escape. After forming the needed hand seals, their body will disperse into a "shower" of whatever they have an affinity for. This shower will confuse and distract their opponent while they escapes or hide.
Note: Those outside of the immediate range of this technique will still be able to see the caster attempting to escape, and can thusly counter. This technique can be broken via pain, kai, or chakra disruption.
Kyousei Yasuragi no Jutsu (Enforced Tranquility Technique) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 8 Chakra Consumption: High The user forms the hand seals, designating their target within their range. Immediately, the target will begin to slow, perceiving everything around them as occurring at an incredibly fast speed. In reality, this genjutsu has slowed their perceptions, and in doing so reduced their reflexes and physical abilities to match the new, slower speed of their mind. From the outside, it might appear as though the target is moving through molasses, as their body slows with their mind.
Note: This technique can be broken via pain, kai, and chakra disruption. This technique was created by Masakuni.
Joku no Kamira (Kamira’s Hell) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: 6 Chakra Consumption: High, Low to sustain Once inside the black space, the target will see grotesque figures said to be tortured criminals, the previous victims of the technique. These grotesqueness will reach out and grab a hold of the target. They will then be thrown into a void (the ground below them) to the mercy of a spectral demon. The horrifying oni can even extend from the targets own body to attack them. The technique aims to transfix the victim with fear while they kill/apprehend the target.
Note: This technique can be broken via pain, kai, or chakra disruption. This technique effects everyone within range, spare for the user.
Shinteki Heisa no Jutsu (Mental Shutdown Technique) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 8 Chakra Consumption: High to cast, Low to sustain The user forms the hand seals, designating their target within their range. The user then reaches out and touches the target, making physical contact with their skin. Immediately, the target will feel their mind shutting down, as though they are falling into a deep, inevitable sleep. Within three seconds, the target will fall unconscious, and remain in this state until the user removes their hand or the technique is complete.
Note: This technique can be broken via chakra disruption. This technique was created by Masakuni.

Dai Endan (Great Fireball) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: 6 Chakra Consumption: 1x High Activation, 2x Mid Upkeep
Dai Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Katon Element. After performing the necessary handseals, the user will first gather the fire into their mouth. Then, they will spew a massive stream of fire (twice the size of Endan and twice as powerful; at 2x mid per post sustained).
Gouka Messhitsu (Great Fire Destruction) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: x3 High
Gouka Messhitsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After forming the necessary handseals, chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive stream of intense flames that can set a vast area ablaze, engulfing the target(s) in the veritable sea of flames. If used upon dense, combustible terrain such as a forest, the confined area can greatly increase the possibility of the target(s)’s incineration.
Note: The stream of fire can be forced out for one entire turn, and at its maximum, spans nearly 10 meters wide and 10 meters high. The heat of these flames are able to melt steel almost instantly, and sheer flesh from bone with even the slightest contact. This requires two Mastery Tiers in the Katon tree.
Endan (Fireball) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 5 Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid Activation, 1x Mid Upkeep
Endan is a Ninjutsu technique in which the user utilizes the Katon Element. After performing the requires seals the user is capable of using their hand in a circular motion in order to focus a constant gout of flames from their mouths (which can be sustained up to one additional post per 1x mid used). This gout fans out at its peak, and is easily capable of consuming several targets all at once.
Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 6 Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid
Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After performing the necessary handseals, the user draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and then immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames, the user can bring their hand to their mouth to control it.
