When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?

Hello Players, and Welcome to OTA the home of the Brave, and creative. This post will explain our slot system a little more so you’ll be fully aware of all of the thing you should keep track of it. It should be noted, this isn’t a limitor on your character but more so a clear understand of how you can build them within our current systems. So lets get started.
While freedom, openness and choice is a staple here, it is an unavoidable fact that throughout the series of Naruto, characters have constantly been labeled as 'types' which are specialized at doing a certain thing. Types then would refer to a specific skill or art a character is proficient at - in this case, either Ninjutsu or Taijutsu. Establishing what Type your character will be is important because it will directly determine how you will build your characters. Types are meant not only to balance the system and keep everyone at equal levels with each other, but also to provide a diversity which will bring people together for the sake of RP. After all, what's the fun of having a character that can do...everything?
Please keep in mind that while Types affect knowledge of most jutsu, Kekkei Genkai, Touta, and Clans techniques are exempt from this due to their inborn nature, BUT they still take up a slot! A player can as many slots as they can afford.
When deciding which route you want to go with your character you will be asked to choose a Primary Style, this will of course come with it's benefits and disadvantages here's a basic out line of character types we have here.

Summoning Family Slots -
In our Narutoverse there are two different types of summoning contracts players can pick up, and of course your style plays a role in this. But before we get into that, let me shed a little light on the difference between a personal summon and family summon.
Personal Summons - These types of summons are Usually one of a kind, with only one contract holder. These summons do not have multiple family members, and if they are killed they are done for unless revived in some Shinobi fashion.
Family Summons - These summons are usually bound to a family tree, and the user has the capability of summon multiple members from their tree. Also, these summons can be replaced on death, unlike the personal summons there are multiple of them you can summon.

1 Personal Summon
1 Family Summon
Taijutsu Primary ~ 1 Personal Summon or 1 Family Summon .
Kinjutsu Slots
Each player is blessed with the ability to obtain some form of forbidden Jutsu, of course their styles come into play here but it's really easy to understand. Also, one can increase the amount of Kinjutsu Slots they have available to them through the experience shop
All Styles possess one Kinjutsu Slot at start, and they can purchase an additional! The only Drawback is Taijutsu Primary can not learn NINJUTSU Kinjutsu, and Ninjutsu Primary can not learn TAIJUTSU Kinjutsu.
