Post by Admin on Oct 31, 2022 15:21:59 GMT -6Stat System! building a perfect you limitations & Graduations! One Thousand Arms battle system is a hybridized form of statistics and logic. They will work in harmony to ensure that much of the headaches found in the gray areas of combat are smoothed out with concrete numerical values. Below we have our movement speed and strength tables, which illustrate the lower and upper limits of our characters here on OTA. Our stat system foundation is based on the honor system so when in battle the proper mod still makes the final call, these stats will not be the sole thing that affects your abilities in combat. It'll have to involve a bit of comprehensive role-play meaning they'll be more strategy and less my power level is higher than yours! Also I want to mention one more thing about the stat system, despite their being set numbers displayed here this doesn't mean you auto-kill someone if you're hit by something of a higher level. Unlike the show, every Player Character will be treated as a Main Character. All battles are meant to be drawn out a cinematic if i might suggest, so instead of number crunching just think of these numbers as a baseline for what the technique is capable of. When you want to know if how you're affecting the area or person when it's not insanely obvious, any moderator will have the opportunity to settle the debate after a simple DM. Our systems have been simplified to make moderating battles simpler and understanding your character's (and your opponent's) capabilities within battles easier to judge. Once again, I'll say this doesn't allow one to just build a wall of stats that make them better than everyone else, just provides some references to what a character is capable of to make it a FAIR call when moderating battles! Please Note when dealing with elemental battles/physical abilities we will stay as close to physics as we possibly can. I.E water beats fire meaning, water techniques will have an advantage over fire. if you run into something moving too fast without defense to support it, you might hurt yourself. FINAL NOTE: You will notice stats added to a lot of ninjutsu! These stats are to give you a better reference of how this technique could affect the area around them. Each type of technique has its strength compared to our strength level table, but instead of being pure strength, it's replaced with whatever said ability the technique has. I.E Someone who uses a Ice Technique, and its B rank, its strength rating will count as a hold for how intense the cold is or sharp the is, etc for the target/area. How it Works Now as mentioned earlier we believe in the honor system, and we'll hold you accountable to the best of our abilities which is why we've taken the time out to mention an area that always seems to get a bit grey in RP's. These stats will affect players' ability to perform jutsu, as well as their ability to move without and or function without it. I just want to keep on mentioning the fact that battle combat here is truly based on your Talent, and not your stat sheet. Ok so lets get started Ninjutsu - Most Shinobi have the ability to perform Ninjutsu Techniques, and some don’t. Ninjutsu can be performed at many different levels, and the user's ability to do so relies on Chakra Form and Chakra Control. Once a user has learned to do both of those they’re able to cast, finely crafted Ninjutsu. The Ninjutsu Stat allows players to buff up their techniques slightly, in terms of range, size, cooldowns, and speed dependent upon the actual technique itself. For example if Bob Uchiha uses a Katon technique at with 5 Ninjutsu such as Great FireBall technique, he would be able to increase the natural range or size of it. So yes if someone if someone of a lower Rank uses the same technique, they can over power them. BUT if someone is using a different technique, let's say Suiton release, Waterfall Basin Technique which is a higher rank, and something that COMBATS the KATON technique perfectly will still hold it's advantage and WON'T GET AUTO SNUFFED OUT. Level 1 - Increase range, size of techniques by 0 meter Level 2 - Increase range, size of techniques by 3 meter Level 3 - Increase range, size of techniques by 5 meter Level 4 - Increase range, size of techniques by 8 meter Level 5 - Increase range, size of techniques by 9 meter Level 6 - Increase range, size of techniques by 11meter Level 7 - Increase range, size of techniques by 13meter Level 8 - Reduces all cool downs by 1 post Increase range, size of techniques by 15 meter Level 9 - Reduces all cool downs by 2 post Increase range, size of techniques by 20 meter Level 10 - Reduces all cool downs by 2 post Increase range, size of techniques by 20 meter So when you think of Ninjutsu, you still have to take into account what type and style the Jutsu you're using is. Your stat doesn't give you an AUTOWIN, it just shows your mastery over the art and helps staff assess how much damage is being done by your technique. Taijutsu - Taijutsu (体術, Literally meaning: Body Techniques) is a basic form of technique and refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimization of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. It typically does not require chakra, but instead uses Stamina, using Taijutsu Techniques will subtract from the user's Stamina Pool. When a player raises their Taijutsu stat they're increasing their ability to perform Taijutsu techniques reducing the stamina needed to perform techniques. (Note: no Jutsu will ever go below x1 low) Level 1 - Decrease Stamina usage by 0 Level 2 - Decrease Stamina usage by x1 low Level 3 - Decrease Stamina usage by x2 low Level 4 -Decrease Stamina usage by x1 mid Level 5 -Decrease Stamina usage by x2 mid Level 6 - Decrease Stamina usage by x3 mid Level 7 - Decrease Stamina usage by x4 mid Level 8 - Decrease Stamina usage by x1 High& Reduces cooldown by 1 post Level 9 - Decrease Stamina usage by x1 High & +1 Base Strength Stat Level 10 - Decrease Stamina usage by x2 High & +2 Base Strength Stat When dealing with the Taijutsu Stat, it allows players to decrease the amount of stamina it cost to perform techniques. Strength - A player's strength level affects his/her character in multiple ways, such as how hard you hit with no Jutsu, what they can lift, and serve as a base for the Taijutsu Technique Strength. Level 1 - Can dent Small Tree Trunks with a punch Level 2 - Can break Small Tree Trunks with a punch Level 3 - Can dent Large Tree Trunks with a punch Level 4 -Can break Large Tree Trunks with a punch Level 5 - Can dent Small Boulders with a punch Level 6 - Can break Large Boulders with a punch Level 7 - Can dent steel walls with a punch Level 8 - Can puncture steel walls with a punch Level 9 - Can Break Steel Level 10 - Can Dent Diamond The strength directly affects the users Taijutsu Techniques and normal abilities to wield any weapon. When performing Taijutsu techniques, your strength stat will be taken into account as well. When Dealing with POWER UP via jutsu users can break through the natural limits of the stat system. Intelligence - The Intelligence stat DOESN'T purely define how smart your character is, but it does give the ability to understand things within the Shinobi world. No jutsu can go below 50 exp. If your intelligence grants you a bonus decrease higher than desired jutsu it will default to 50. Level 1 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 0 Level 2 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 40 EXP Level 3 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 60 EXP Level 4 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 80 EXP Level 5 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 100 EXP and Shinobi are Knowledgeable of all basic releases. (Meaning they know they exist) Level 6 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 100 EXP and Shinobi are Knowledgeable of all Taijutsu styles and releases.(Meaning they know they exist) Level 7 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 140 EXP and Shinobi are Knowledge of all countries' terrain Level 8 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 200 EXP and Shinobi are more knowledgeable of materials & items that exist. Level 9 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 250 EXP and Shinobi knows of higher rank Shinobi Jounin and Higher Level 10 - Decreases the experience needed to purchase techniques by 300 EXP and Shinobi knows the location of all hidden villages with no MAP. When dealing with the intelligence trait, it allows characters to learn at a higher capacity than others, it can also give you an advantage when fighting in different terrains or trying to find information about something in the Shinobi World. E Rank techniques can't be discounted, as they are essentially free techniques. Stamina - Every player has a Stamina Pool, and it's accessed when a player is using Taijutsu Techniques. Your character's Stamina Pool will not be sapped while performing 'basic movements' with your character. Level 1 - 1 x Massive Level 2 - 2 x Massive Level 3 - 3 x Massive Level 4 - 4 x Massive Level 5 - 5 x Massive Level 6 - 6 x Massive Level 7 - 7x Massive Level 8 - 8 x Massive Level 9 - 9 x Massive Level 10 - 10 x Massive Level 11 - 11 x Massive This stat reset every time you enter a thread.. attaining the higher value means your starting pool in each thread will be as follows. AND Stamina just like speed are one of the stats that can naturally be increased pass level 10! Speed - Speed is a valuable asset in the Shinobi world, here on OTA the first way it affects your character is how fast a person is able to run. Also, this stat affects a character's agileness meaning their ability to throw a punch or avoid one in close-call situations. Level 1 - 1 meters per second Level 2 - 3 meters per second Level 3 - 4 meters per second Level 4 - 5 meters per second Level 5 - 6 meters per second Level 6 - 8 meters per second Level 7 - 10 meters per second Level 8 - 12 meters per second Level 9 - 14 meters per second Level 10 - 16 meters per second Speed directly effects the normal abilities of movement. It plays a factor into how agile your character is, and how well they can actually comprehend peoples movements. Chakra - The Chakra pool the most important stat that exist in the Narutoverse, It tells a player just how many jutsu they can dish out before you know you kick the bucket. For the sake of understand, each point equals a massive. you may increase your Chakra pool as long as you have the points for it. Level 1 - 1 x Massive Level 2 - 2 x Massive Level 3 - 3 x Massive Level 4 - 4 x Massive Level 5 - 5 x Massive Level 6 - 6 x Massive Level 7 - 7x Massive Level 8 - 8 x Massive Level 9 - 9 x Massive Level 10 - 10 x Massive Level 11 - 11 x Massive This stat reset every time you enter a thread.. attaining the higher value means your starting pool in each thread will be as follows. AND Chakra just like speed are one of the stats that can naturally be increased pass level 10! Defense - Here at OTA, we aim to make fighting fun, with less disagreements from both parties. with that in mind in the Narutoverse, we've seen character die in all types ways. But we've also seen take a pounding, I.E getting smashed through walls, and mountains etc, huge techniques, but still manage to get up. Here at OTA, this stat affects a players ability to take damage and remain conscious. ALTHOUGH this stat doesn't provide ultimate defense, it will still take sufficient RP to survive dangerous encounters. Level 1 - Durability comparable to a small tree Level 2 - Durability comparable to a medium tree Level 3 - Durability comparable to a large tree Level 4 - Durability comparable to a small boulder Level 5 - Durability comparable to a medium boulder Level 6 - Durability comparable to a large boulder Level 7 - Durability comparable to Tungsten steel Level 8 - Durability comparable to Titanium steel Level 9 - Durability comparable to Chromium steel Level 10 - Durability comparable to Diamond When Scaling your durability vs techniques, it really comes down to what type of technique it is. Your body is COMPARABLE to these materials, which means they can still be broken if attacked the right way. Getting hit with a Biju - Dama with level 10 defense will still hurt you if you're not taking any ACTUAL defensive measure I.E Jutsu, or hiding, moving, or blocking. And this doesn't affect your character's ability to be knocked back, if you're getting hit with a technique that'll put you down, it still will. You're just more likely to get up from it. Hand Seals - This is pretty self-explanatory, the higher your hand seal level the faster you'll be able to wave hand seals per second. Ninjutsu Primary max 20 handseals per Sec. So Level 1 is 2 handseals per second, and +2 for each additional level. Taijutsu Primary max 10 handseals per second So Level 1 is 1 handseals per second and +1 for each additional level. "Well what does this stat look like RP'd out.." Well, we're gonna get back to the honor system again, instead of giving it a said value, it'll just provide you with the idea that'll you be a little bit stronger than a person of a lower level than you. It will be noted that most techniques tell you how faster, far, and strong they are. The stats will provide the players with more insight into how to interact with other players when fighting. Moving at light speed, and things like that will be saved for people with bijuu, gates, and that type of crowd, and even then we will do our best to manage that to ensure everybody is having a good time. Note! Each stat has a maximum cap of 10, BUT can be exceeded when using special abilities that give a stat bonus. Under the given conditions staff will provide specifications on what a player has is capable of in this type of situation. Starting Off Every type has its own initial stats they start off with which can be found in the Type Section! These are additional points to customize your character a bit more. Note: Some Clans have additional starting stats. Please review the specific clan page when tracking & building your characters. When your character is freshly created, or recreated, they'll start off with a specific amount of stat points that are dependent on their type (Nin Prime or Tai Prime). However, they will be awarded an additional number of stats depending on their Rank. Genin - 2 Stat Points Chunnin - 3 Stat Points Jounin - 5 Stat Points Note: When Recreating a character you will lose all of the stat points earned by the previous character. NOTE: you will recover all the experience of all PURCHASED points. Earning Stat Points just as the Shinobi in the show the survive to get better. But just so you have an idea how you'll be able to earn stats let me throw up a couple of ways, ALTHOUGH, at the digression of staff members special circumstance may call for it. A moderator will provide the stat points while grading, you don't really have to ask. If A stat point is Earned Via RP, a user is free to put it into whatever they feel like they want to as long as there character type allows for it. Events Quest Interactive Missions Competitions Jewels Class Up's Training Exp Shop Buying Stats When Applying skill points you'll have to keep in mind your type, each type well have their own cost for specific stats, I'll be able to explain a little better with a small chart for each type Buying Stats - Level 1 - 3k experience Level 2 - 4k experience Level 3 - 5.5k experience Level 4 - 6k experience Level 5 - 7.5k experience Level 6 - 8.5k experience Level 7 - 9k experience Level 8 - 10.5k experience Level 9 - 15k experience Level 10 - 25k experience F.A.Q How many stat points can I have? A player can obtain as many stat points as they wish, as long as they have a place to put them. Not every stat can be increased pass 10, only Chakra, and Stamina Pools. What Happens when you exceed stat CAPs because of special jutsu?? The user will be placed into a special situation, and the battle moderator will help discern the new speeds/strength/durability that is attained in these cases. If I start off with 2 Chakra, is my first EXPERIENCE SHOP purchase from Level 1 or Level 2??? Your first purchase will be from that level. deltra of gangnam style [googlefont=Montserrat]

One Day at a time

Prelude -
When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?
