[nospaces] [attr="class","believeBG"] [attr="class","believeHead"] [attr="class","believeIcon"] [attr="class","believeBody"] Tacchi no Shiiru, also known as the “Sealing Touch,” is a unique Nin-Taijutsu that combines powerful Fuuinjutsu with quick, precise Taijutsu. Unlike the esteemed Jyuuken (Gentle Fist), pioneered by the Hidden Leaf’s Hyuuga clan, which focuses on injuring a person’s internal organs, or the universally practiced Goken (Iron Fist), which focuses on causing extreme amounts of external damage, Tacchi no Shiiru encompasses the versatile realm of incapacitation, proximity sealing, and augmentative seals.[break][break] Since the style’s birth deep within the borders of the Land of Whirpools, it has seen many changes and innovations to its applications. However, the core principles remain the same and have continued to flourish as newer generations continue seek to acquire its secrets. Incredibly powerful, this style should not be wielded foolishly.[break][break] Restrictions[break][break] 1. Tacchi no Shiiru is only available to Ninjutsu Primaries.[break] 2. Tacchi no Shiiru requires Administrative Approval.[break] 3. In order to acquire this style, players must be of Chuunin rank or higher, and already possess Fuuinjutsu itself. As such, this style does not occupy a player’s “slot”; instead, it is a sub-category located beneath the parent-tree of Fuuinjutsu.[break] To that end, it should also be noted that all of the rules and affinities of Fuuinjutsu (such as their duration and ability to be removed) apply to these techniques as well, unless stated otherwise.[break][break] Masteries[break] Tier One – A Thief’s Prize, the Sixth Sense: At this level of mastery, the user is able to take advantage of the Settou Tacchi (Thieving Touch) technique and push its boundaries even further. Well aware of certain ninjas possessing the ability to “sense” chakra signatures, one way or another, practitioners of this level have learned to attune their seals to even block this unnatural ability on all levels.[break][break] Tier Two – Advanced Training, Harmony of the Trifold Path: Practitioners of this level have learned the ways of consolidation, and likewise harnessed the ability to turn their seals upon themselves. At this level of skill, the user is able to bestow the blessings of all three Seals of Attribute (Speed, Might, and Will) upon a target simultaneously (this means that by using one, you effectively cast the other two at no additional cost). Furthermore, they are now able to use these seals upon themselves.[break][break] Tier Three – A Thief’s Gluttony, Treasures of the Spirit: All of the techniques within the house of the Sealing Touch require direct contact with the target in mind. To that end, the masters of this style decided to take advantage of what many might consider a weakness and turn it into very drastic advantage. Each time a user places a seal upon their victim, or touches a victim with an active seal in play, an increment of x2 High worth of chakra is immediately extracted and supplemented to the user.[break][break] After that, should a seal have been placed on the target, a slow drain of one Med per post is taken from the victim until their reserves are left at an absolute minimum of a single Mid worth of chakra. This drain will continue on until the seal is removed. The chakra siphoned in this manner is not given to the user, but destroyed.[break][break] Jutsu[break] Sokudo no Shiiru (Seal of Speed)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 3[break] Chakra Consumption: Mid[break] One of the three primary augmentative seals of the Sealing Touch, this technique allows the user to temporarily supplement a target’s natural speed capability. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘speed’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the desired target, placing and effectively activating the seal.[break][break] Note: While this seal is active, the effected target will move at x2 the speed of your average shinobi (this does not stack with the Taijutsu primary perk, but can be used to counteract fatigues which hinder mobility). This boost will last for a total of five turns, before the seal vanishes. This technique cannot be used on one’s self.[break][break] Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break] Masu no Shiiru (Seal of Might)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 4[break] Chakra Consumption: Mid[break] One of the three primary augmentative seals of the Sealing Touch, this technique allows the user to temporarily supplement a target’s natural strength. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘might’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the desired target, placing and effectively activating the seal.[break][break] Note: While this seal is active, the effected target will boast +1 to their strength level (this does not stack with any other amplifier, such as Curse Seal, Senjutsu, Hachimontokou, etc.). This boost will last for a total of five turns, before the seal vanishes. This technique cannot be used on one’s self.[break][break] Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used. [break][break] Ishi no Shiiru (Seal of Will)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 2[break] Chakra Consumption: Mid[break] One of the three primary augmentative seals of the Sealing Touch, this technique allows the user to temporarily supplement a target’s natural chakra reserves. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘will’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the desired target, placing and effectively activating the seal.[break] Note: While this seal is active, the effected target will temporarily gain a single High worth of chakra. This donated chakra will only be available for use for a total of five turns, before the seal vanishes and the chakra is lost. This technique cannot be used on one’s self.[break] Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] Ooku no Kougekino Tacchi (Touch of Many Strikes)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 2: 1 to activate, 1 to cancel[break] Chakra Consumption: Low to cast and sustain[break] A beginner seal, this is one of the first techniques taught to practitioners. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘strike’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then proceed to make some form of contact with the intended target using the marked hand. In that moment, the victim will immediately feel a rapid succession of strikes (three) carrying the exact amount of force as the original blow.[break][break] Note: While this technique is active, the only other Tacchi no Shiiru technique that may be used is Bureedo no Tacchi (Touch of the Blade). Other techniques, excluding Fuuinjutsu, may also be used while this technique is active. these punches carry strength similar to level 3 strength[break][break] Bureedo no Tacchi (Touch of the Blade)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 2: 1 to activate, 1 to cancel[break] Chakra Consumption: Low to cast and sustain[break] The sister of Ooku no Kougekino Tacchi (Touch of Many Strikes), this jutsu is best used in tandem with the aforementioned technique. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘blade’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the intended target, placing a miniature version of the ‘kanji’ at the location. In that moment, the victim will immediately feel as though a blade has either pierced or slashed the marked spot, depending on the motion. The persists as long as the kanji remains active.[break][break] Note: While this technique is active, the only other Tacchi no Shiiru technique that may be used is Ooku no Kougekino Tacchi (Touch of Many Strikes). Other techniques, excluding Fuuinjutsu, may also be used while this technique is active. this technique carries slashing power similar to level 3[break][break] Settou Tacchi (Thieving Touch)[break] Rank: B[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 2[break] Chakra Consumption: High (per)[break] Another powerful offensive technique, this allows the user to slowly take away each of their opponent’s five senses. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘thief’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the intended target, placing and effectively activating the seal. No matter where the seal is place, the user is free to ‘seal away’ one of the victim’s five senses: touch, taste, sight, hearing, or smell. Note: Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] Shinshi Tacchi (Dead Limb Touch)[break] Rank: B[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 5[break] Chakra Consumption: x2 Mid (per limb)[break] Considered the premiere technique of the Sealing Touch style, Shinshi Tacchi is credited with the fighting style’s quick rise to fame. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘dead’ appears on the user’s palm. They will then touch the intended target anywhere on the body, placing and effectively activating the seal. Once activated, the seal will grow larger until it has marked the entirety of the limb in question. At this time, the limb will be completely incapable of any manner of usage as if it were “dead.”[break][break] Note: It should be noted that if this seal is placed on a victim’s head, they will be subjected to a deep comatose-like state. Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] Tacchi Kontorooru (Controlling Touch)[break] Rank: A[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 4[break] Chakra Consumption: High (per limb)[break] Another of the more famed techniques this style has to offer, this technique offers more utility than some of the others. After performing the necessary hand seals, the kanji for ‘control’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the intended target anywhere on the body, placing and effectively activating the seal. Once activated, the seal will grow larger until it has marked the entirety of the limb in question. At this time, the limb will become completely under the will of the user.[break][break] Note: If this seal is placed on the victim’s head, they will enter a temporary mind-controlled state wherein their entire body is subject to the user’s command for a total of two turns (and then the seal will vanish; this full mind-control is the only circumstance in which the seal will automatically remove itself). Should the user and victim be separated by more than ten meters at any point in time, the control will immediately cease; however, it will resume – presuming it was not after two turns, in the case of a full body control – the very instant they are within range of each once more.[break][break] Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] Fuudou (Wind Tunnel)[break] Rank: A[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)[break] Type: Defensive[break] Handseals: 6[break] Chakra Consumption: Low - Massive[break] A powerful defensive Fuuinjutsu, this technique protects the user from a single enemy technique. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘tunnel’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then face it toward an incoming technique, and activate the ‘seal’ when they choose. A vicious vacuum of force will then erupt from the kanji, devouring the threat whole.[break][break] Note: The maximum dimensions of the techniques able to be absorbed by the wind tunnel may not exceed thirty by thirty meters. This does not work on people, creatures, or objects; only jutsu. This technique can only be used once per thread.[break][break] Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] Teni no Tacchi (Touch of Transference)[break] Rank: S[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 5[break] Chakra Consumption: x2 High (per set); High (optional)[break] An incredibly powerful technique of the Sealing Touch. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘give’ and ‘receive’ will appear on the user’s palms (one for each). They will then touch two targets – one with the ‘give’ kanji, the other with the ‘receive’ – placing and effectively activating both seals. Once activated, the ‘give’ seal will grow larger until it has marked the entirety of the limb in question. At this point, any damage received by the appendage(s) marked by ‘give’ will be immediately transferred to whatever object was marked by ‘receive’, leaving the original target unscathed.[break][break] Note: The transference of damage between targets is instantaneous. The amount of damage capable of being received is not infinite, however. A ‘fatal’ worth of damage (for instance, a strike that would remove the limb in question) will dissipate the ‘receiving’ seal upon transference. The ‘receiving’ seal will need to be reapplied to another target for a cost of one High worth of chakra after performing two seals.[break][break] In reference to the actual damage being taken, in the case of weaponry, is simply absorbed. This means that if you were to cut at someone’s arm marked by the ‘giving’ seal, the blade would simply continue to rest against their skin, unable to pierce. The ‘giving’ seal cannot be placed on inanimate objects, though the ‘receiving’ can.[break][break] Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] Kyouseiyouso Ku no Tacchi (Touch of the Elemental Ward)[break] Rank: S[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 4[break] Chakra Consumption: Massive[break] Arguably one of the most powerful techniques in the entirety of Tacchi no Shiiru based solely from its utility, the Touch of the Elemental Ward is revered and only taught to those who have mastered all other Tacchi no Shiiru jutsu. After performing the necessary handseals, the kanji for ‘ward’ will appear on the user’s palm. They will then touch the intended target, placing and effectively activating the seal. From there, a variety of effects may take place.[break][break] Should the victim possess more than one element, the power of single affinity will be increased by two-fold (in regards to the raw power and damage, not size or anything else). At the same time, the subject will be unable to use their remaining elements and their susceptibility to them shall be raised thrice (where applicable). On the contrary, should the victim only possess a single element, they will find themselves unable to mold their chakra into said affinity until the seal is removed.[break][break] Note: In the case of the victim having more than one element, the user of this technique is the one who chooses which affinity is strengthened and which is weakened. They are not required to disclose their decisions to the victim, until at such a time wherein the information is immediately relevant (i.e they’re using a jutsu).[break][break] When accessing the susceptibility to the chosen affinities in question, use common sense. If someone is three times weaker against water, that doesn’t mean they’ll die from taking a shower. It means that if you hit them with a whip made from water, you’ll probably split them open deep instead of just bruising or a moderate slash.[break][break] This technique can only be obtained once all other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques have been learned, and only one Ward seal can be active at any given time. Other techniques, including different manners of Fuuinjutsu, may be used while this technique is in its preparation phase (i.e the kanji on the user’s palm). However, other Tacchi no Shiiru techniques are unable to be used.[break][break] ulla [newclass=.believeBG]background-color:#fff;width:400px;padding-bottom:20px;border-radius:10px;box-shadow:#ccc 4px 4px 5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeHead]background-image:url(https://media1.tenor.com/images/1601b0b5868e3bf73ff0dead482702bb/tenor.gif?itemid=11744408);background-position:center center;border-radius:10px 10px 0 0;height:175px;-webkit-clip-path: polygon(0 0, 100% 0, 100% 100%, 0 75%);clip-path: polygon(0 0, 100% 0, 100% 100%, 0 75%);[/newclass] [newclass=.believeIcon]-webkit-transform:rotate(-39deg);float:left;margin-top:-70px;margin-left:50px;border:#fff 5px solid;background-color:#fff;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeIcon IMG]width:65px;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeBody]padding:20px 40px;font-family:arial;font-size:10px;text-align:justify;color:#3a3a3a;line-height:12px;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeBody b]color:#ab8ed1;font-family:varela round;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeBody i]color:#888;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeButton]background-image:url(https://i.pinimg.com/originals/49/98/9e/49989e61e44b15452f882ce5f8ba1af6.gif);background-position:center center;-webkit-filter:grayscale(60%);height:40px;width:80%;border-radius:80px;box-shadow:#ccc 1px 1px 3px;color:#fff;line-height:40px;font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:10px;text-transform:uppercase;[/newclass] [newclass=.believeButton a]color:#fff!important;font-weight:400!important;[/newclass] [googlefont=Varela Round]

One Day at a time

Prelude -
When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?
