Naruto/OTA Physics Disclaimer
Basic movements -
Basic movements are anything considered as running, walking, moving to the right or left or moving specific limbs. These things are defined under our stat system with designated speeds and strengths, etc. When you put these things into real-time during fights, always take into account what someone else can read and react to.. You should try your best not to make elongated actions that people can interrupt.
Ninjutsu -
When working with ninjutsu there's a lot of ambiguity with techniques in comparison to the show to our site, and I will say here they're not the same. Here at OTA, everything in techniques should have a clear definition of how far it can go and size. IF you're technique has a + in the range description or detail you are unclear about please notify staff, so they can let you know the official range/abilities of techniques. ONCE a Battle Mod, Game Master, Or Head Moderator or higher has spoken that is the final call.
ALSO CONCERNING RANGE - I want to point out that range always plays a part in every technique, but also understand depending on your use of some elements the range can be extended.
First - Combining techniques with other shinobi, when this is done, a player can increase the size, and range of their techniques with one another a BM will help you reason with the size and range, but you can imagine it would at least double in most situations.
Second - Powering up your own techniques with others ones you know may it be the same element or different, it all has an affect on how big and far a technique can get.. If you need clarification a BM or head of staff will play a part in it.
Third - things like water, and rocks, etc, when manifested in physical form I.E a boulder or a tidal wave, you can consider the distance listed on the technique as the edge of the technique max power, once it hits that point it'll start to lose its force.
Taijutsu -
It's a pretty straightforward thing, unlike ninjutsu all your motion are concurrent most time you don't have to gather chakra or anything of that nature so you'll have more fluidity in your actions. When it comes to broken bones, or thing of that nature you'll have a BM make the call to say if the damage sticks if your hit lands.
Elemental Variables -
Okay so here at OTA we know the Naruto verse isn't exactly an easy thing to decode, so here at OTA we're giving our best take on it. As you all know having elemental powers is a big deal especially because of how it can effect a landscape and surroundings. For the sake of story and balance, not everything will be real-world logic, some things will be bent for our use... So during fights when attempting to use techniques keep in mind how it affects the area around you.
Stat System -
Once again, our stat system is not a definition of how to become unstoppable. No matter what your stats, you still have to RP, these stats simply give us an idea of how we interact with one another BECAUSE we are not regular humans we are shinobi. I.E a person with 10 defense can still die, and a person with 10 strength doesn't auto kill someone by punching them because they have a low defense.. It simply says that punch will be a lot more effective on that person than it would for a person with a higher def stat or that that person with higher defense won't be instantly pierced, or killed but they can still be effected by blunt force of techniques and punches. Also, keep in mind speed, and how moving super fast, and hitting stuff without any techniques or defense is dangerous because of impact. I say all this to say, please do your best to balance out your stats. And don't think that a wall of stats is going to save you from missing details in t1.
