When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?

Ryuuka no Jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Mid (5m ~ 10m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 5[break] Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid[break]
Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding an opponent, the ninja uses the wire to guide and unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target.[break][break]
Note: The target does not need to be bound in order to use this technique. However, it is highly inaccurate without a guide wire and thusly easy to avoid otherwise. This technique has burning power similar to level 3 strength, and it moves at level 1 speed.[break][break]
Bakuhatso no Shotto (Exploding Shot)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 4 to activate, 1 to deactivate[break] Chakra Consumption: 1x Mid per flame shot created[break] By creating a spark of Fire Release chakra from their hands, this jutsu allows the user to throw multiple balls of orange flame from their hands, which are able to cause fiery explosions on impact. The shots can also light the opponent on fire if contact is made.[break][break]
Note: The explosion created by this technique is burning/explosive power is comparable to level two strength. The explosions cover about a 1 meter radius. The four hand seals are good for as long as the chakra is steadily channeled; while this jutsu is activated, no other jutsu may be performed.[break][break]
Enshou O Okoshite Buki (Inflamed Weaponry)[break] Rank: C[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Offensive[break] Handseals: 2[break] Chakra Consumption: 1x Mid, 1x low to sustain[break] After performing the necessary handseals, the user will channel their Katon chakra into their weapon (primary or secondary), allowing them to significantly increase the temperature of any weapon in their grasp. The user must maintain contact with the item in question.[break][break]
Note: This technique has burning power similar to level 3 strength.
Suiun Suishi no Jutsu (Water Transport Dispatch Formation Technique)[break] Rank: D[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 5[break] Chakra Consumption: 3x Low (per Column)[break] Suiun Suishi no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Water Element. The user will first perform a series of handseals, and then cause a large column of water to rise from a nearby water source. Due to the moderate volume of liquid controlled by this technique, it is the preferred method of fighting nearby fires.[break][break]
Note: Each Column is roughly ten feet tall and four feet in width (all directions), it rises out the water near instant.
Chuusijin no Jutsu (Stomping Monkey’s Quake Technique)[break] Rank: D[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 2[break] Chakra Consumption: Mid, Mid (upkeep)[break] Chuusijin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user coats their legs and feet in chakra and begins stomping wildly. As they stomp, the earth around them begins to quake, disrupting balance of anyone nearby. This technique is ideal when faced with waves of opponents, or for taking down weakened edifices.[break][break]
Note: The earthquake extends 5 meters in every direction of the user and will continue so long as they continue to hold chakra in their legs. Any person within range of the earthquake will suffer serious balance and orientation disruption.[break][break]
Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique)[break] Rank: D[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 1[break] Chakra Consumption: Low, Low (upkeep)[break] Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a single handseal, the user conceals themself beneath the ground. Here they can lie in wait, capable of feeling the vibrations of those who walk above them. When the user chooses, they can emerge suddenly from the ground, grabbing the opponent and pulling them down into the pit where they once were buried. The opponent is buried up to their neck, robbing them of the ability to move.[break][break]
Note: This technique can only be used outside, or on unimpeded earth. Concealment is near-instantaneous. User cannot move while underground, except to perform the second part of this technique. To remain underground without suffocating, the user will need to continually expend chakra.
Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)[break] Rank: D[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: -[break] Chakra Consumption: Low[break] Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction. [break][break] Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.[break][break]
Fuubaku Houjin (Exploding Seal Method Formation)[break] Rank: D[break] Range: -[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: 1[break] Chakra Consumption: Low[break] Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, as opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.[break][break]
Note: This ability allows the user to detonate his or her explosive notes, as opposed to allowing them to be "timed" explosives. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.[break][break]
Soushuriken no Jutsu (Manipulated Shuriken Technique)[break] Rank: D[break] Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)[break] Type: Supplementary[break] Handseals: -[break] Chakra Consumption: Low[break] With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.[break][break]
Note: By combining this technique with a Chidori enhancement, the user may cause the wire to break the Shuriken apart into multiple sharp slabs that can be directed by the user.
