[PTabbedContent] [PTab=Info] Glass ceiling? Should be easy enough to shatter, then
[/PTab={background-color:#f0f0f0;width:530px;height:290px;padding:10px;padding-top:0px;margin-top:-6px;}] [PTab=BIOGRAPHY] Hard work means everything, never take the easy path personality Futaba is a shy, stoic woman who also suffers from being socially awkward, due to mainly working on her own and not truly interacting with others. She never knows how to initiate a conversation, let alone keep it going, but it isn't as if she doesn't want to. She tends to hide her emotions and push them down until later, the only prominent one being the obvious shyness that is essentially undeniable. When in the presence of someone she trusts, who is able to break down her walls, she shows that she is actually an incredibly sensitive individual. She cares deeply for her allies and her village, and is especially grateful and loyal to the Mizukage. Thanks to his allowing her family to flee their home country and find refuge in his while they were on death's door was a turning point. Within reason, she would do anything to repay the man for his kindness. It was part of the driving force that led her to become a Jonin. Futaba believes that hard work is what makes a person, there are no other shortcuts. Someone weak can't instantly become monstrous, there has to be an incline before any progress can be seen. When a person keeps at their objective with determination, day after day, only then will they be rewarded. And that's exactly how she's progressed to this day, she would gladly take the high road despite any repercussions that may come her way. She believes in honor and respect, and tries to maintain herself in such a manner. She doesn't enjoy pointless violence, but she won't hesitate to defend herself if she feels her life may be in danger. If there's a chance she can end things peacefully, or with the minimal amount of violence possible, then that is the path she will take. Sometimes when the path is laid with thorns, such beauty can be found. She has a voracious appetite, loving any time she can spend eating and making food gifts incalculably effective on her. She loves all food, from sashimi to grilled cheese, but her absolute favorites are dango. Any dango will do, sweet or savory, and she enjoys chewing and licking the stick afterward. Most of the time she can be seen with one hanging out of her mouth, an indication of her activities. She hates the waste of food and is one of the few things able to make her angry. Futaba loves using new weapons and tactics, and taking the time to conceptualize and create them. The act of crafting itself is soothing to the young woman, able to clear her mind and engage in her best thinking almost as if letting her body move on autopilot. She expresses insatiable curiosity when it comes to ninja tools, weapons, accessories, armor, anything that can be crafted, really. Likes: Ninja Tools, Summer, Dango, Smoking, Glassblowing, Tinkering, Food, Drinking, Reading, Fighting, Tea, Orange (color) Dislikes: Dogs, Snakes, Winter, Soda, Woods, Lightning, Liars, Traitors, Waste, Red appearance Standing at an average height of five feet four inches (5'4") and weighing in at a meek one hundred-five pounds (105lbs) is the next beauty contending for the spot of top kunoichi, Futaba. Cobalt blue eyes, like two deep craters of ocean waters dotted with specs of purple, are surrounded by thin, though numerous, black strands of eyelashes. A nose so petite that it could be overlooked is dotted in the center of her face, far above her thin, heart-shaped lips. Her thick, charcoal tresses of hair flow all the way down to her waist and is usually straightened with the exception of her bangs that slightly frame her face as well as a middle section that sways to the left secured with a pink barrette. In the back there is another matching pink barrette with a pink bunny design. She has a curvaceous body and a more than ample bosom. When not in combat she can be seen in a sky blue, form fitting, black buttoned-up, sleeveless shirt and lower down she is adorned with dark blue jeans that end just at the top of her ankles. Her footwear consists of black, high-heeled sandals and she completes her look with a white jacket that she normally keeps open. The jacket's sleeves are often curled up to the middle of her arms and her headband can be found wrapped around her neck. When she is in combat, she wears the oddest of combat attire. A black leotard, modestly covering up her bust, flows down to a set of dark black tights with a black cotton tail on the small of the back. She has a white collar around her neck, with her headband tied around in front of it acting as a tie. She trades in the usual heels and high-heeled sandals for typical shinobi sandals in order to move uninhibited. The outfit is meant to distract, as well as grant her a larger freedom of movement thanks to the form-fitting clothes. [/PTab={background-color:#f0f0f0;width:530px;height:290px;padding:10px;padding-top:0px;margin-top:-6px;}] [PTab=History] But maybe love can be in my future, too! enchante mademoiselle Futaba and the rest of her Hanazuki clan were originally born in Amegakure no Sato. However, given the perilous location that it was combined with internal clan power struggles, her parents had decided that they wanted a different life from those around them. Shortly after marriage, they fled the country in the middle of the night and sought refuge in a land that was similar to their own. Kirigakure no Sato was their destination and the journey was perilous. The most tension came when they attempted to cross through the massive expanse that was the land of fire. When they arrived it was far from what they had believed, the leader of their village far more scary and unwilling to help than they had assumed. With enough time, however, they had managed to attain a citizenship with the promise of spilling any and all village secrets they had as well as the promise that they would prove their loyalty. Often given dangerous missions, her parents had no choice but to accept them. Though difficult, her father lost an arm while her mother had lost her sight, they discovered their payout was worth it. Proving their worth was going to be a continued task, one that they would also entrust to Futaba, but they were off to a good start. Once Futaba was born, they drilled her with as much knowledge and skills as they could. Their family was in a precarious situation, if the Mizukage ever decided they could be removed in more ways than one, so they needed to be useful to him. They also stressed how thankful they were, to even be able to exist in this land in the first place. They thought working for their village to prove their loyalty was better than facing the back stabbing that was occurring back home. Their hopes and prayers were answered, the woman was a wonder when it came to genjutsu and she possessed decent knowledge of ninjutsu and taijutsu as well. She finished at the top of her class easily, and made a name for herself as a Genin with the success rate of her missions as well as the strength and intelligence she was said to possess. This would all be confirmed when it was time to gather all the rest of her rank into one in order to perform a Chunin exam. The exam had several portions; the first of which was a written exam testing the student's abilities to gather information, the next one of them consisted of a survival test which landed them in the mountains for a week. They hunted and foraged the best they could, though several others fell prey to traps and teams forcing them to resign, before the week was over and they were able to go the next phase. The final phase was a one-on-one tournament against one another in combat to show off battle tactics, prowess, and overall abilities of all who had advanced so far. For Futaba there was nothing more fortuitous and she was able to make an incredible showing in her battles. It was no surprise, of course, when she finished the tournament in first place, as well. Utilizing her unique fighting style she tore through the rankings, and was made a Chuunin. She spent the next couple of years leading a team of Genin, before they became Chuunin as well. Her time spent as a Chuunin was almost too short, before she was called in to perform a Jounin exam for the Mizukage. Her exam was so familiar it was almost deja vu, as he needed her to hunt down someone who had fled the village carrying knowledge and a kekkei genkai. There were others in the Oninin corps who could handle things, but this was her chance to fully prove herself and repay the debt that they still owed. She accepted the mission and began tracking the man from his last known location, one of the several islands that were scattered around Kirigakure. She learned that the man was waiting for a ferry to take him, so she had to be quick and yet cautious as she hunted him. She had managed to sneak onto the same boat, but it was a large one and very crowded so she had to bide her time and follow him a bit longer to his next destination: Yu no Kuni. The land of steam was to be his hideaway, but it actually became his grave. Engaging in a vicious battle with the man, she finally ensnared him in a terrifying genjutsu before slicing him down with her ninjutsu and traps. Carefully, she decapitated the corpse and blew up the rest of the body with paper bombs. Impressed with the outcome, she was deemed successful and joined the ranks of Kirigakure's elite. Now she awaits, ever her Mizukage's loyal sword ready to be drawn and used against any who stand in his way. for extra app things --- [/PTab={background-color:#f0f0f0;width:530px;height:290px;padding:10px;padding-top:0px;margin-top:-6px;}] [/PTabbedContent={width:550px;background-color:transparent;height:300px;padding:0px;border:0px;margin-left:-3px;margin-top:-20px;text-align:justify;color:#332F28;font-size:10px;}] [b]Seishun Buta Yarō, mei[/b] as [i]futaba[/i] deltra of gangnam style [newclass=".PT_table .PT_tabs"]border: 0px;text-align:center;background-color: #f0f0f0;color:#333333;font:15px Oswald;text-transform:uppercase;-webkit-transition: all 0.2s ease; -moz-transition: all 0.2s ease; -o-transition: all 0.2s ease;[/newclass] [newclass=".PT_table .PT_tabs_hover"]border: 0px;text-align:center;background-color: #f0f0f0;color:#333333;font:15px Oswald;text-transform:uppercase;[/newclass] [newclass=".PT_table .PT_tabs_selected"]border: 0px;text-align:center;background-color: #f0f0f0;color:#cc333b;font:15px Oswald;text-transform:uppercase;-webkit-transition: all 0.2s ease; -moz-transition: all 0.2s ease; -o-transition: all 0.2s ease;[/newclass] [newclass=".PT_table .PT_tabs_selected_hover"]border: 0px;text-align:center;background-color: #f0f0f0;color:#cc333b;font:15px Oswald;text-transform:uppercase;[/newclass] [googlefont=Oswald]

Prelude -
When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?
