When the comforts of civilization begin to dull our senses, we must never forget that in the beginning, there was war. And war. And more war. Long before there were empires, there were humans consumed with greed and the hunger for power. Resources, territories, information—these were the forms of sustenance upon which we preyed. Today, we call such habits vices. Oh, how arrogant we have become! Are we not still impelled by those primordial emotions? Is the advent of war so far-fetched? But alas, for you to truly understand, we must dive deeper into this land’s half-forgotten past.
There was a time when might was the only law that humankind knew. Fearsome clans roamed throughout the land, seeking amenable grounds within which they could take root and opposing forces against whom they could test their mettle. Given the irregularity of nature’s bounty, certain regions appealed more than others, and dominion over such coveted territories became the spark that ignited the earliest inter-clan wars. These fierce, internecine affairs tended to conclude only when one side had decimated their competition into oblivion, and many clans of story were rendered extinct during this period.
The victors of war, having claimed their territories, often made truces with surrounding locals, offering protection in exchange for access to the yields of agriculture. Over time, certain communities emerged as more dominant than others, either due to numbers or sheer talent, and their rapid expansion would force smaller, neighboring communities to either collapse into their fold or be devastated. When the dust settled, humankind found itself divided into the five major territories that we are familiar with today. And was the bloodshed over? With our lands obtained and our bellies filled, were we finally content?

Strong winds often occupied Sunagakure, the very winds that carried guided Seigen's hair as if it were tendrils of snow flowing from the top of his head. His eyes were momentarily closed, confident in each step he took one by one despite being unable to truly "see" anything. Having quite literally spent the majority of his lifetime within the walls of Sunagakure, navigating through it without sight acted as a testament to the familiarity of his home.
Further displaying his familiarity Seigen refused to use conventional means of travel, instead - protruding horizontally from side of the building that acted as the meeting area- Seigen scaled the wall with ease, with finely tuned chakra woven beneath his feet. Both hands tucked into his pocket, he ascended the front most side of the building as the roof's edge slowly eased into plain view.
"Almost there...I wonder what these Jounin's will be like, hopefully stronger than the academy teachers, I didn't even need to use my best stuff against them."
Spoken aloud, only a handful of steps remained until Seigen would've normally reached the roof, expediting that process, his knees bent and sprung into a forward release that launched him into an upward arch up & over the roof's edge; leaving behind a trail dust and debris. Mid-air, he landed softly from a frontal flip and eased into a slight crouch that successfully absorbed his landing. Exhaling, his eyes finally opened and surveyed the immediate area with turns of the head to both sides.
"Just me huh...Welp, guess i'll just have to wait a bit."
Channeling his Hyouton Chakra momentarily, an icy mist briefly escaped his parted lips as he stood up into a full stance, hands tucked and shoulders relaxed as he waited for the arrival of his soon-to-be superior(s).

Shinji felt he had a lot on his plate but such is the life of a shinobi. The teenaged Uchiha walked the streets of Sunagakure with his hands in his pockets, as he was lost in his thoughts. Shinji didn't know what the life of going to an academy was like, school work. ninjutsu homework. exams. Chuunin exams. His life and upbringing were quite different. Way different than this younger generation and that's for sure. Shinji looked up at the buildings observing in the distance a random person walking up the side of a building which caused Shinji to stop in his tracks for a moment and watch it unfold. The thoughts of Shinji continued to rattle off between his ears like an inner dialogue of reflection. I really wonder if it's actually doing a service or disservice to these young shinobi. That was a loaded bowl of ramen with all the fixings for sure. One could say well yeah, you didn't have to watch your loved ones die before your very eyes.
[break][break] This caused Shinji to flashback but he quickly pushed that image out of his mind as he watched the person reach the top of the roof. Shinji started walking again, removing a hand from his pocket with a photo in his palms, the image he was looking at was of the very kid climbing the side of that building to the top. He saw the characteristics that make this kid stand out. He also had a special change in chakra nature that he hasn't experienced before. Ice and snow this kid could make are certainly interesting. Shinji kept walking as he slowly reached the building, his eyes scaling the side of the building he watched the boy traverse up as his black irises reached the rooftop. Shinji's ponytailed sideburns swayed as he started to mold chakra in the pit of his own stomach, letting the cycle of collection build in the center as it starts to disperse from the pit of his stomach and travel down the vines of his chakra network into his feet, stepping his right foot onto the building as he brought his left foot up onto the building, as he stood. He started to walk up the building in the same fashion the kid did.
[break][break]
"I wonder what this is gonna be like. I never had a student before or someone I had to actually train before. I am not sure how useful I will be considering I can't so much as even know the first thing about farting white snow after a bowl of fire-roasted ramen."
[break][break] As Shinji reached the top, he would step over, and down onto the roof, making his chakra disappear from his feet as he stopped the molding of chakra, a step that every shinobi has within them. At least the ability to do, it's only certain people in the world who can't harness chakra. Shinji hasn't met any that he knows can't. Shinji's eyes travel to notice the student known as Seigen Senka standing with his back to him. Shinji watched for a moment with his hands stuffed in his pockets, he would speak up to get the kid's attention as a deep tone escaped his lips.
[break][break] "You must be Seigen Senka right?" [break][break]
Standing atop one of the various buildings within Sunagakure the Kazekage had cozied up to an unnoticeable position, today she was on observation duties alone, so she didn’t want to be seen. Dressed in her usual attire most of her figure was cloaked aside from her eyes, and a little bit of hair. From her vantage point she could see most of the village, ‘Sunagakure is panning out beautifully.’ The young woman thought to herself. For the bulk of the day, there weren’t any interesting things going on outside of the regularities of the city.
“Hmm?”
Off in the distance, she could see someone scaling a building, she couldn’t fully make out the person’s makeup with her own eye so she would pull a pair of binoculars out. ‘Oh wow, I wonder where he’s headed.’0 Ishikawa continued to watch the boy while remaining undetectable, it wasn’t odd to see someone scaling a building, but she was interested in where he was going. After a little time, the boy arrived atop the roof and took a seat, ‘So he’s waiting on someone.’ Using the binoculars, she would peer to the left and right to see if she could spot anyone approaching, and of course, she did.
“Uchiha, Shinji.”
The Kazekage would smile a little as she saw the man out and about after their last meeting, she wondered how he would feel up his time from now on. ‘This is very interesting I wonder what he would be meeting up with this genin for, we haven’t put out any memos for teams yet.’ She thought for a moment while she watched Shinji make his way over to Seigen’s position.
“Let’s see how this goes, I wish I could hear what’s going on. But for now, I’ll watch from here.”
The woman would keep a watchful eye over the situation from a distance for now, she was at least 100 meters away from the duo..
The village, known as the Village Hidden in the Sand, was a bustling settlement nestled within the arid expanse of the Wind Country. Its towering structures were a marvel, sculpted from the golden sands themselves, their surfaces hardened and glazed over time, shimmering under the sun's harsh gaze.
Yusuke was craving the sweet, rich taste of Taiyaki. The thought of the fish-shaped cake filled with sweet red bean paste made his mouth water. Turning a corner, Yusuke found himself in the right place. The sweet scent wafting from the stall was unmistakable. He ordered a piece using the Ryo that he gained on his recent mission. Yusuke took a bite as soon as it was cool enough to eat. The Taiyaki was delicious, warm and sweet, the red bean filling melting in his mouth. For a moment, he closed his eyes, savoring the familiar taste.
Upon opening his eyes, a figure scaling a building caught his attention. The climber's silver hair glowed like tendrils of snow against the backdrop of Sunagakure's terracotta buildings. When the young shinobi reached the top, he exhaled a mist of icy chakra. Yusuke found himself intrigued.
As he continued watching, Yusuke spotted another familiar figure. It was Shinji, his hands buried in his pockets. Yusuke watched from afar as Shinji began to ascend the same building, his chakra dispersing from his feet.
“Kuso!" Yusuke cursed under his breath, feeling a pang of annoyance with himself. He remembered the announcement now. The newly graduated genin were to be introduced to the village's jounin - a customary practice meant to foster connections and mentorship.
With a mildly exasperated sigh, Yusuke picked up the last piece of his Taiyaki, the sweet red bean filling warming his tongue and palate as he hastily bit into it. Flakes of the fish-shaped cake crumbled onto his lips, the mild annoyance at the hurriedness of his meal adding a bitter undertone to the otherwise sweet treat.
As the last bit of Taiyaki disappeared into his mouth, he tossed the paper wrapper aside. Simultaneously, he allowed his chakra to flow into his feet, a familiar warm sensation that made him feel grounded yet light. Without further ado, he took a running start, his feet pushing off from the sandy ground with more force than necessary, betraying his current mood. The leap propelled him towards the side of the building, his sandals hitting the wall with a soft thud.
Climbing was almost second nature to him, a fundamental shinobi skill ingrained in him since his academy days. His feet adhered to the vertical surface as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Upon nearing the roof, he pushed off from the wall with a final burst of chakra, causing him to flip in mid-air before he landed nimbly on the roof's edge, the sound of his landing barely audible over the whistling desert wind.
Regaining his bearings, he spotted Shinji and Seigen. He gave them a nod, acknowledging their presence with a slight bow of his head. "Sup Shinji," he greeted, his voice carrying a touch of familiarity as it cut through the silence. His tone was casual, a stark contrast to the formal setting. Turning his attention to the younger shinobi, "I'm Yusuke," he introduced himself. "You must be the new graduate, Seigen, right?”

Well before Shinji spoke, Seigen had already glanced back over his shoulder, aware of the presence of an approaching figure through the steps that carried them onto the rooftop. Seigen turned his body half way into a side-view, his right shoulder parallel to Shinji's front as his eyes scanned over the entirety of his being. Seigen attempted to speak, however just before the words could escape his lips, another arrived, landing from a mid-air flip not to far from Shinji. No different than before, Seigen's eyes glanced over the frame of the second jounin, Yuusuke.
All throughout, Seigen's cold breathing continue, leaving behind trails of icy mist with each breath he'd taken; one could've easily assumed the young lad had been shivering cold had it not been for Sunagakure's perpetual high temperatures.
"Bingo...Seigen Senka, top of my class."
With an icy mist trailing behind every word, Seigen answered both jounin; letting it be known how far ahead he'd been classed in comparison to his peers. Seigen always knew and heard the whispers of how superior's and elders felt about the newfound softness within the Average classes of genin due to times of peace. Seigen, however, knew such times wouldn't last forever and as such trained to the best of his abilities during a time of war that only existed in his mind's imagination. The separation of his talents existed in the form of his advanced release, a power that remained hidden from the academy's staff as well as Seigen's peers. Any known information regarding his abilities had only shown him to be a practitioner of Suiton.
Thereafter, his right hand raised from the confines of its respective pocket and pointed a finger towards Shinji and motioned it towards Yuusuke in a single motion.
"I'm guessing You two must be Jounin, you guys stink of experience and battle power. That's Dope. As You clearly already know, I'm a new graduate, user of the Suiton release. Before you ask about my goals, i don't really have any, figured I'd sort that stuff out when I cross that Bridge Y'know."
Despite having a carefree and nonchalant tone and demeanor, Seigen took everything about being a shinobi of Sunagakure seriously. More so than his peers by far, Most evident by the arrival of two jounin, even if it'd been nothing more than pleasant introductions.

Shinji heard the air whip to his right from the landing of Yusuke Uchiha, which prompted the younger Uchiha to nod his head toward Yusuke as more of a formality at this point in time to match the head nod of Yusuke. The younger Genin who Shinji was still glaring at with those unemotional eyes and demeanor which most Uchiha possess the ability to unnerve people with the corneas connected to their chakra network. That ability comes and goes as it's a unique characteristic of the blood limit that they have no control over as it's all tied to emotion. The Sharingan being the curtain to their soul pulled back for all to see.
[break][break]
"Sup Shinji. I'm Yusuke, You must be the new graduate, Seigen, right?”
[break][break]
The Uchiha nodded toward Yusuke again as his reply, the teenage Jonin is here to see the new recruit into the ranks of the village. His hands remain rested in his pockets as the Uchiha remained casual but what would come to Seigen's attention eventually and even to Yusuke's surprise, was that there would be a vast brown sandy color gourd strapped to his back, via a sash diagonally over his body. Shinji could see the cold icy particles form every time the genin breathes. Shinji thought the use of it was fascinating. Of course, Shinji had a bunch of reasons to be excited. Shinji has eager to learn about different jutsu and various forms of ninjutsu and its brethren of relatives. The boy was also a medical ninja so he had much to learn from this as well.
[break][break]
"Bingo...Seigen Senka, top of my class."
[break][break]
Shinji smirked at the confidence of the lad, Shinji could understand the sentiment despite never being in the academy. He watched the boy with intrigue but stoic interest in what this one would bring. One could hope he wouldn't be too quick to send himself to an early grave. Which is always possible, even for me. The thoughts danced through Shinji's synapses as he observed the boy begin to remove his hand from his pocket, pointing his index finger first at Shinji and then over toward Yusuke.
[break][break]
"I'm guessing You two must be Jounin, you guys stink of experience and battle power. That's Dope. As You clearly already know, I'm a new graduate, a user of the Suiton release. Before you ask about my goals, I don't really have any, figured I'd sort that stuff out when I cross that Bridge Y'know."
[break][break]
Shinji himself kept his hands in his pockets as he looked toward Yusuke and then back toward Seigen himself. Shinji's corner of his lips muscles would curl up into a smirk. The Uchiha would go to lean against the roof's edge taking a seat, his hands still remaining in his pockets. He would glance up at Seigen and then start speaking.
[break][break]
"Well, Seigen you are right. I am a jonin and I do reak of the things you say. Let's just say you have experienced something I never have and that is the academy. So, you are impressive in that regard. As for the goals and you not knowing any and taking it as it comes is understandable considering you're skill level. I'm not gonna lecture you like some would. I will say this. From this day forward you will always have two sensei's. At least, if I were to have my choice in the matter. That still resides with Lady Kazekage."
[break][break]
Shinji then briefly looks over at Yusuke making eye contact for a moment before Shinji broke eye contact and looked back at the cool guy who looks like he can chill this whole desert out if given the chance. Shinji would force himself to stand up from his seated position as he slowly started to walk toward Seigen, talking as he walked.
[break][break]
"And Yusuke over there would be your other sensei. With that being said, this comes with some Important stuff that you will, of course, learn in the coming days. After all, today is just our meeting. The breaking of the ice which I am sure you are used to doing Seigen."
[break][break]
Shinji would stop speaking at about the same time he stopped right in front of Seigen as his words stopped. Shinji would look down at the younger shinobi, his eyes locking onto his. Not with any sort of malice or I'm trying to son you because of height, weight class, or creed. Shinji was looking at him like he was someone who could be and will eventually be his equal.
[break][break]
"Seigen I don't think I have to preach to you about nothing. It's not about questioning your intelligence or poise. The thing I need you to understand is that we are here to take you to the next level. You want to always strive to be better than your last accomplishment. Eventually, more will become Genin and you will soon have a team. So, tell me kid about yourself because I really don't know much about ya?"
Pushing himself off the edge of the roof, Yusuke dropped down lightly onto the rooftop. His landing was soft and chakra control immaculate. Walking over, he moved to a spot not far from Shinji, a few feet away. With a casual grace, he lowered himself onto the rooftop, crossing his legs and leaning back onto his hands. His posture was relaxed, yet his eyes held a certain intensity, mirroring the seriousness of their conversation.
Yusuke listened intently as Seigen spoke, his eyes narrowing slightly at the genin's display of confidence. It was something he appreciated. Shinobi needed confidence. Without it, they wouldn't last a day on the battlefield.
"Top of your class, huh?" Yusuke murmured, a slight grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "That's impressive. You'll need that drive in the field."
His gaze shifted to Shinji as he began to speak, his words echoing Yusuke's own thoughts. He was right, of course. Both of them would serve as Seigen's sensei, guiding him through the complex world of shinobi.
As Shinji locked eyes with him, Yusuke gave a curt nod.
When Shinji finished speaking, Yusuke turned his attention back to Seigen. "Shinji's right, Seigen" he began, crossing his arms over his chest. "We're not here to lecture you. We're here to help you grow, to help you reach that next level. You've got potential. We can see it. But potential alone won't get you far. You need to push yourself, to constantly strive for improvement."
Yusuke paused for a moment, his gaze unwavering as he studied the young genin. "So, tell us. What's your story?"

Seigen locked eyes with Shinji the moment he spoke, listening intently as each word passed over his ears. Seigen had momentarily taken back by the fact that Shinji, apparently, had never seen the inside of an Academy classroom. Despite Shinji casting his credit, Seigen himself admired the fact that despite the academy's shinobi based education, Shinji made it exceptionally far.
Nearing the end of his initial comments, Seigen watched as Shinji stood up right and motioned over towards his position; to which Seign adjusted his side-view position to face Shinji forward. Hearing Shinji speak, Seigen immediately realized the drastic contrast between academy teachers and active jounin out in the field; namely how Shinji and Yusuke carried themselves in addition to how Shinji spoke to Seigen like no one had before.
Before Seigen could fully process everything and return with words of his own, his eyes had cut towards Yusuke as he reinforced their collective objective of taking Seigen's abilities and potential to the next level. With everything the two jounin said laid out in the open, Seigen's arms crossed over his chest with one hand caressing his chin in a deep thinking fashion.
"Well If that's the case, how could I ever say no to have two jounin Mentor's? I'd be a fool right? Rhetorical question. I appreciate the potential within me being acknowledged, it means alot. As for my story, its nothing crazy or tragic. My old man is MIA, probably dead. My mom raised me here and still does but she doesn't understand a thing about the shinobi stuff. I just want to protect my home, and Even find some answers about....myself."
The ending of Seigen's words ended with a pause, contemplating If he should reveal that which he deemed a secret. However, the more he reflected, the more he realized that there probably weren't many around that could make sense of his unique abilities. Coming to his conclusion and steadfast in his resolve, he nodded as it looked towards Yusuke and then shinji with his arms returning to their sides.
"I like the idea of going to the next level and I'm not against doing whatever that takes. I want to make sense of what I can do...I've never seen or heard of it before personally so I'm not sure about the extent of it, maybe you two can help me....I'll demonstrate."
His entire demeanor shifted in an almost menacing fashion, naturally so, he'd finally been in the presence of established members of Sunagakure's military force as opposed to a fourth rate academy teach that an advanced Genin could defeat. Not even a moment later had Seigen turned about face from Yusuke and Shinji and stepped forward to create some distance between them. In the Next moment he hoped they paid attention as his chakra began to coalesce and swell with the formation of hand seals formed directly above his chest, and once completed, he leaned forward with a fierce stomp into the ground with his right leg. The immediate area became dangerously cold, enough so that it ignored and bypassed Sungakure's heat altogether. The ground beneath them had near instantaneously been covered in a layer of slick ice and within the next moment, said ice -5m in front of Seigen- formed into a collection of spikes that rose into the air at an alarming rate. Whips of icy fog surrounded the immediate area, aimlessly floating throughout the openness of air.
With the Jutsu formation cast and completed, Seigen took a deep, iced breath and turned back around to face his new-found Mentor's. With a quick flick of the nose with his thumb, he smirked.
"This Is what I've been keeping Secret, It took me a long time to even figure this out but I want to make This style of Jutsu as powerful as it can be. I'm going to be Sunagakure's "WHITE SAND"
the user transmits their chakra into the ground or floor (either through their feet, or by their hands, generally as long as their bodies touch the ground/floor the jutsu is possible) where the Ice Chakra can then go to the target area. Within seconds a thick, sturdy spike of ice will shoot up from the ground, catching anything on it and sending it into the air at rapid speeds. The solidity of this icy spike, and the speed that it rises from the ground, allow it to cause heavy damage to structures and can cause quite an impact on the person’s body. This spike can vary in size, but typically never exceeds 4 metres in height and 2 metres in thickness.
Note: Due to the nature of this icy creation, it will not melt under normal circumstances unless destroyed or put to extreme temperatures (such as a desert or in volcanoes). The maximum Range of this form of ice generation is 20 metres. this technique has pircing power similar to level 5 strength.

Shinji observed the boy cross his arms over his chest bringing a thumb up to his own chin as Seigen seemed to be deep in thought. The last words and how they left Seigen's lips got Shinji's attention as he gazed at the boy. Shinji could relate to this young kid a little, but he wasn't sure. Shinji doesn't know if he is looking at himself or not because over the years Shinji has not been himself. The jury is still out on the traumatic experiences a child could experience in war and how it affects the psyche and development sector of childhood. Though, he doesn't have either parent. Shinji's face didn't show emotion to match the feeling of someone maybe understanding you indirectly and knowing where you are at in this life. Because similar events oftentimes repeat themselves unless something changes. This time something has changed. Shinji's thoughts were interrupted by Seigen nodding his head up and down as the white sand's eyes danced between Yussuke and Shinji putting his arms back at his own side. Shinji's hands remained in his own pockets during all of this.
[break][break]
"I like the idea of going to the next level and I'm not against doing whatever that takes. I want to make sense of what I can do...I've never seen or heard of it before personally so I'm not sure about the extent of it, maybe you two can help me....I'll demonstrate."
[break][break]
Shinji wanted to see what this kid could do, so he was excited about that. Shinji watched intently as Seigen seemed to turn away from them both to face away from him. Shinji would notice the change in chakra nature happening, as he watched him complete the signs he created, observing Seigen step forward with some force with his foot right in front of him slamming it down with force. The first thing Shinji noticed was the change in temperature within the area. Shinji could feel the coldness as he observed a patch of ice form on the roof between them. But, not too long after that five meters in front of Seigen ice sprouted up from the ground with protruding spikes in various sizes and directions. Shinji then would start to observe the fog that starts to filter the roof. One of the spikes came back toward Shinji looking to impale him as a large patch of sand randomly collected in front of Shinji stopping the spike in its place and preventing it from touching Shinji. He was standing still, with his hands in his pockets, no hand signs formed or chakra molding obvious. Shinji's expression never changed as he watched the boy take a deep iced breath as it floated visibly from his lips. Seigen rubbed his thumb across his nose as he looked at himself and Yusuke.
[break][break]
"This Is what I've been keeping Secret, It took me a long time to even figure this out but I want to make This style of Jutsu as powerful as it can be. I'm going to be Sunagakure's "WHITE SAND"
[break][break]
The sand had started to dissipate as Shinji listened to the words of Seigen, the sand seemingly disappearing from view as if it vanished. Shinji would observe the ice construct in front of him. He would remove his right hand from his pocket running his right fingers around the edges of one of the protruding spikes. The piece of ice was solid as he tapped a finger on the tip of it. Shinji could figure out why this was very useful and dangerous. A power like this. In Sunagakure of all places. Interesting. Shinji would remove his hand, the coldness chilling his hands as he placed it back into his pocket, the warmth of his clothes bringing the temperature back up. The problem is, Shinji could teach you, and mentor you. But, I can't help you control this blood limit. The wheels of Shinji's beginning churning. If only I had some of your blood what I could do with this blood limit? Shinji pushes that thought out of his mind.
[break][break]
"Well, that is an interesting ability. The White Sand you say. Well, the only thing is neither me nor Yusuke could help train you to expand on your ability. But, we can help grow you in other areas. I do have some questions though. What else are you able to do in regard to your elemental affinities? I ask because I noticed you said your father died and your mother doesn't understand a thing about shinobi. So I imagine this came from your father."
[break][break]
Shinji would glance over at Yusuke for a moment before speaking toward him.
[break][break]
"What do you think of the kid?"
[break][break]
Shinji would lock eyes with Yusuke for a moment before looking down at the ice, which still hasn't melted yet. The heat was being still controlled for the time being. Shinji would surmise it'd be possible that his special ability may have one problem dealing with the ice. But, for Shinji's sake, he has kind of already figured out how to deal with the ice. After all, he is known for his intelligence and keen sense of observation. [break][break]
Yusuke watched the interaction between Shinji and Seigen with a faint smile on his face. As a Jounin, he had encountered many genin, but none like Seigen. The icy mist that followed Seigen's words, the confidence in his voice, it all spoke volumes about the young genin's personality.
His dark eyes eyes stayed focused on the young genin as Seigen began to speak. He noted the way Seigen's arms crossed over his chest, the deep thinking look that took over his face. It was clear that the words from the two Jounin had struck a chord within him. As he listened to Seigen's story, his gaze softened. Missing father, a mother who didn't understand the shinobi life, it wasn't unfamiliar territory for Yusuke.
As Seigen revealed his intentions, and his determination to understand his unique abilities, Yusuke's interest piqued. He watched as Seigen prepared to demonstrate his abilities, his own chakra subtly flaring in response. As the immediate area turned dangerously cold, Yusuke felt a chill run up his spine, the icy sensation contrasting starkly against the usual heat of Sunagakure. As he watched the ground being covered by a layer of slick ice, and the spikes that formed from it, he had to acknowledge the young genin's advanced control over his powers.
As Seigen turned back to face his mentors, Yusuke couldn't help but chuckle at the name he had chosen for himself. "White Sand, huh?. He remarked, his voice laced with amusement. "I like it. It suits you." He pushed off from his leaning position and standing upright. "It's clear you've got the potential, Seigen. And we're here to make sure that potential doesn't go to waste." His gaze flicked to Shinji, a silent agreement passing between the two Jounin. "We'll help you understand your abilities, and take them to the next level. You're a part of Sunagakure's future, after all.”
From Yusuke's perspective, the entire exchange was a revelation. A young genin with such a unique ability, and a determination to match. The ice, sharp and deadly, stood in stark contrast to the heat of Sunagakure. The irony wasn't lost on him. 'White Sand,' the boy had called himself, a fitting name indeed.
Seeing Shinji examining the ice, Yusuke also found himself curious about the unique nature of Seigen's jutsu. Ice release in Sunagakure was almost unheard of. As Shinji expressed his thoughts and asked Seigen about his other elemental affinities, Yusuke found himself aligning with Shinji's words. He too couldn't help much with Seigen's Ice Release.
“But remember, Shinji… Yusuke added, shifting his gaze back to Seigen, "…Being a shinobi is not just about his ability to use ninjutsu. His Hyouton release is impressive, no doubt, but we have to assess his other skills as well.”
Yusuke raised a hand, counting off on his fingers as he listed, "Taijutsu, teamwork, weaponry, and tactical skills. We need to see how well-rounded he is. Even the most powerful jutsu isn't enough if you don't have the physical prowess or the tactical mind to make the best use of it. And if he can't work in a team, that will be a serious handicap in the field. A shinobi can't afford to be a one-trick pony."
He looked back to Shinji, his expression serious but not harsh. "We should set up some tests, see what he can do. What do you think?”
